The Book Case Launch

James Riordan at wiki launchThe Book Case officially launched on the 29th June 2007 at Portsmouth Central Library. Popular local author James Riordan was in attendance to help us celebrate and formally declared the site open.

Members of all the reading groups across Portsmouth came along to attend this exciting event that formed part of Portsmouth City Council's Culture Trail. After an entertaining speech by James, library staff were on hand to demonstrate the wiki, and plenty of guests wrote reviews on books they had recently read.

The Book Case is cool. It allows you to have your own opinion towards things, and lets you look at other people's opinions. As I like reading, it is cool that you can discuss books. Thumbs UP! Keep It UP!
