I loved the narrator of this book, and the way she is written, her voice and story kept me interested throughout. As Alessandra’s story unfolds so does the story of Venice and its troubled times, not knowing much about this period of history I found this fascinating. Unfortunately the book trailed off towards the end, not living up to its earlier sections. However it was a book I couldn’t put down. 0  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
